Never Stop Dreaming!

Welcome to my happy place, welcome to Happy Feet Yogi webpage!

Why Happy Feet Yogi you may think?

Well, for a long time I wanted to bring together my passion and dreams under one banner. In 2016, I thought about what to name it, as a title gives a beginning to the journey that lies ahead.

How can I add value to your life?

Before we get there, let me share a bit about myself. This Happy Feet Yogi is Brinda, I used to run crazy marathons from 2010 to 2016, literally every 3 months hence life was on the fast track. I picked up on Yoga at the same time, more to balance the runs and have great stretches, only because someone said it is good. In 2016, I went to London after wrapping up from Dubai and got certified as a Personal Trainer then Austria for 200-hour Hatha Yoga Instructor and finally Ayurveda Nutrition in Kerala, India.

This was enough to start my journey towards a healthy lifestyle that was ruled with Ayurveda routines, becoming a vegetarian, having more control on my lifestyle and being a morning person, rising up at 4am was easy. My feelings at that stage when I had time in hand yet a full-time job was to spread the learning and share the experience with people who want to feel the difference too.

I realised how difficult yet easy it was to stay still and feel what you feel inside, see how your body feels and where your mind and breath is. Sounds complicated or simple? Going back to job then after 8 months of living life on my terms, I felt I was missing something. I had started teaching yoga over the weekends in a centre in Dubai, while working 5 days a week in hospitality industry.

Then I got an opportunity to work overseas in the middle of the Indian Ocean. My forte on the professional front is Marketing. I took the step to accept change, as I believe it is better to try first anything new that attracts you than say no and stay in your comfort zone. Once there, I felt nice, seclude in a good way and continued with my yoga practice and teaching to the staff in the hotel.

After almost 3 years, here I am back in Dubai where it all started for me in 2006, with friends who are my family. I now teach full time yoga to adults and kids from 4 to 16 years old. I feel more complete now as I follow my passion and have time to share this learning and experience with the others, bringing a difference in their lives too.

Send me an an email on [email protected] and share your story. I am confident our paths have crossed for a reason and we can make a difference. Join me on this journey and let’s find a way to stay healthy and fit for life, together as one.
